The Watermark Specimen Fisheries in Gloucestershire offer a diverse range of angling experiences specialising in Trout and Carp fishing.

From the inland sea that is the famous Bradley's Fishery with carp to 40lb+ to the intimate Specimen lake of four and a half acres with it's large head of quality carp to 35lbs+, tench to double figures, crucians to 2lb+ and perch to over 5lb! Their other mature gravel pits offer exclusive winter pike fishing opportunities with No. 6 having brilliant pike fly fishing in summer. All the Watermark fisheries are mature, non-pressured and intimate waters with exceptional water quality and clarity. Superb for the serious specimen hunter or the discerning all rounder.

Venue Details:
Bradley's Fishery: Syndicate Lake + 10 day tickets a day [limited swims only]. 130 acres. Specimen Carp, Pike, Tench, Chub and Roach. Private car park. Difficulty - Medium.
Bradley's is set to be the Jewel in the Crown of Watermark fisheries. This 130-acre mature gravel pit is already well know by the serious specimen hunter for its large carp currently growing to the magical 40lb mark as well as specimen Tench into double figures Roach and Perch.

Watermark Specimen Lake: Syndicate Lake + 10 day tickets a day (limited swims only) 4.5 acres. Specimen Carp, Perch, Tench, Chub and Roach. Private car park. Difficulty - Medium.
Watermark Specimen Lake is just over 4.5 acres and is predominantly a carp fishery. Like Bradley's it has a head of approximately 50 old English fish, which are now well over 45 years old. They can be hard to catch however very rewarding when you manage to put one of these magnificent creatures on the bank. They average mid twenties with the odd fish exceeding the 30lb mark. The Watermark has invested heavily into this fishery with recent stockings of new fish to 33lb. The total stock is somewhere in the region of 250 fish. During the Winter 04 a nice batch of 40 Mark Simmond's fish were stocked averaging 10 -12lbs to complement this well stocked fishery.

The Pike Lake: Day ticket only booked in advance (free to syndicate members) 40 acres. Specimen Pike, Tench, Chub and Roach. Restricted parking. Difficulty - Medium.
The Watermark has the fishing rights to this lake and restricts angling activity to 6 people a day to protect the magnificent head of specimen pike in this mature fishery. The lake screams pike! with all the features a pike angler likes to see including beds of rushes and sunken trees! It is a prolific venue and you have every chance of catching a 20lb + pike or better. Best brace this winter (2004) is 24 & 26lbs, which came from simultaneous runs. Parking is restricted however you can use the Cotswold Visitors centre adjacent to the lake. Please note the gates are locked between 6pm and 9 am.

No bent hooks
No lead core
Nets/Sacks must be dipped onsite before fishing
