A delightful mixed coarse fishery set in beautiful Devon countryside, Stafford Moor Fishery offers excellent coarse fishing as well as Canadian lodge accomodation. A mature sixty seven acre estate surrounded with huge pine trees hides twenty two acres of heavily stocked lakes and luxurious Canadian lodges. There are plenty of idyllic spots for a quiet picnic, painting, birdwatching or just walking through the woodlands and watch the Deer, Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Cuckoos, Jays and Buzzards who live here. Fishing is available on 5 lakes:

Beatties Lake [8 acres] has over 400 double-figure carp to 29lb.
Tanners Lake [5 acres] holds carp to 10lb, bream and tench to 4lb, crucians to 2lb, roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz plus golden rudd to 1lb
The Pines [2 acres] has ghost carp and tench to 5lb, bream to 4lb 8oz as well as crucians to 2lb 8oz.
Woodpecker Lake [4 acres] holds carp to 15lb, bream to 9lb, tench to 5lb, eels to 4lb, crucians to 2lb, roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz
Joseph's Lodge Lake [6 acres] contains carp to 15lb, bream and tench to 6lb, perch to 4lb, roach and rudd to 2lb+ plus the odd catfish.

For the big carp, try legering hair-rigged boilies or pepperami over plenty of loose feed. For bulk catches of smaller carp, float or feeder fish pellet or paste over pellet feed. The carp also fall to the waggler fished up in the water with pellets as hook bait. Good silver fish bags can be caught using maggots.
