Getting There:
Directions from the M5: Leave the M5 at Junction 27 (Tiverton) and take the A361 towards Barnstaple/South Molton. Head through South Molton and follow signs for Torrington. Once in Atherington follow signs for High Bickington. As you enter High Bickington, there is a traffic calming system. Immediately after this turn right into a road called Barton Meadow. Follow this road until you get to the bottom of the hill (approx 1 mile) we are located at the bottom of this hill on the left, with a large gate and drive. Please drive up the drive and park to the left of roundabout in front of the mill wheel and walk up to the main house where you will be greeted.

Directions from Exeter: Follow the A377 out of Exeter towards Barnstaple, it is about 30 miles to the turn off to High Bickington, this is sign posted in the village of Portsmouth Arms. Take the left turn and follow up the hill. Turn right at the top and follow the road into the village of High Bickington. The last road on the left of the village just before the traffic calming system is Barton Meadow road and the road that you must take Follow this road until you get to the bottom of the hill (approx 1 mile) we are located at the bottom of this hill on the left, with a large gate and drive. Millbrook Cottages are 4 Star Self Catering Holiday Cottages, set in 32 Acres of North Devon Countryside, central to beaches, attractions and towns. Millbrook is a relaxing haven, whether you enjoy visiting beaches, shopping, going to see attractions, fishing, walking, bird spotting, horse riding, shooting, reading books, sun bathing, playing games or just plain relaxing Millbrook is the perfect base and the perfect surroundings to do all of these. On site we have 3 holiday cottages that are 4 star and one modern 5 star apartment. The 3 cottages are set on separate floors of a converted Mill House with original features and the fourth is a modern open plan apartment with fantastic views over the lake and grounds.

There are 2 fully stocked lakes at Millbrook. There is one open lake which is stocked with mixed size trout for fly fishing as well as one very large lake that is stocked with various size tench and carp for coarse fishing [pictured].

No charge for fishing
No rods lent to un-experienced fishermen as they do not want our fish damaged.
Barbed hooks are not allowed under any circumstances.
No keep nets, and unhooking mats are required.
NRA License is required
