Facilities can be booked by individuals or parties and concessions are given for all disabled organisations.
Cornwall’s newest silver fish venue, designed for all levels of angler from novice to match, custom designed pegs for the disabled angler (5) with a total capacity of 27 match pegs. Located near the village of Par in a 20 acre woodland area.
Snowland Leisure is set in the village of Par within 34 acres of land, situated 3 miles from Fowey and 5 Miles from St Austell. Snowland Angling Centre is a lake complex which until recently was unused.
There is ample free car parking and non angling visitors are welcome. Additional facilities on site are: Swimming, Riding and Gymnasium.
Electrical hook ups for touring caravans available June 2008.
Static Van accommodation also available.
Club membership available.
The lake has fixed platform pegs and is suitable for anglers of all abilities. The lakes ares situated in Woodland, with walkable paths around them.
The natural stock of Carp, Rudd, Roach and Perch was enhanced last November with a stocking of Bream, Tench and Crucian Carp.
There is a smaller lake (Brunel) currently being cleared which has a stock of Rudd, Roach and Carp, this will enhanced over the following months, enabling it to become an ideal venue for the junior angler.
The lakes also have designated wheel chair access pegs, with parking next to them.
Fishery Update:
Oct 2010
The speciman lake is now open and contains Carp to 18lb+ and Tench 5lb+. Regular midweek and weekend open matches held on the match lake.
Aug 2008
We have now extended the main lake to 32 Pegs. Fishing lodges are now available on site. We have now managed to capture a number of big double carp for the holding pool, ready for the new lake, however there are still many lumps to be caught. The new Tench, Crucians and Bream we stocked last year are showing well and we are now holding regular matches.
