Membership:
Prices for the 2006/2007 season are:

£32.00 for seniors, £14.00 for juniors [12-16yrs]
OAPs and registered disabled £17.50
under 12's £3
weekly permit £15 for seniors, £7 for juniors
daily permit £5 for seniors, £3 for juniors
junior anglers must be in possession of a Taunton Angling Association    permit [available at a reduced rate of £3.00]

Taunton Angling Association is a coarse fishing club based in the Somerset area of England offering fishing at a variety of venues.

Club Waters:

West Sedgemoor Drain, Stathe:
Situated on the Burrowbridge to Langport road. Fishing on the south bank only from the pumping station to Pincombe bridge. There is no vehicle access at pincombe bridge. Carp, Tench, Pike, Bream, Roach, Perch, Eels.

Taunton to Bridgwater Canal:
From Firepool Lock Taunton, where the canal enters the River Tone, to Higher Durston [Upper Maunsell] Lock. Access from road bridges in Taunton, Bathpool, Hyde Lane, Creech St. Michael, Durston and Upper Maunsell. Fishing only permitted from the tow path banks. Roach, Rudd, Tench, Carp, Pike, Perch, Bream and Eels

Roughmoor, Taunton:
Members have access to the Taunton Fly Fishing Club waters from silk mills road bridge to French Weir. Please note that the Fly Fishing Club retains their current right to fish these waters and will continue to retain their right to issue Day/ Period/ Season tickets to non-members. Access to this water is by foot or pedal cycle only. Motor bikes are strictly forbidden. No Trout or Grayling to be kept in keepnets unless fishing an approved match.

Maunsell ponds:
A complex of three ponds in the grounds of Maunsell House at North Newton. The ponds offer anglers fishing for Roach, Rudd, Carp, Tench, Perch and Bream in a delightful setting with easy access and safe car parking. The Match Lake has approximately 30 pegs and is available for match bookings from Mr D. Rugman on 01823-426596 or 07759738495 for details. The match lake has a native stock of Roack, Rudd, Carp and Tench. The Lodge lake contains Roach and rudd to 1½ lbs, Tench to 4 ½ lbs, Crucian Carp and Perch. The Carp lake with its clear weedy waters contains Carp to 20 lbs.

River Tone Taunton:
From Firepool Weir to Bathpool Bridge on the A38 on both banks, Known as the fast stretch, and one field below Bathpool Bridge on the south bank. Creech - Towpath stretch from Bull street, Creech to Ham Weir. Roach, Rudd, Bream, Chub, Dace, Perch, Pike, Carp, Tench, Grayling and Eels.

King Stanley pond:
Situated by the railway bridge on the A361 one mile west of Norton Fitzwarren. Anglers must use Barbless Hooks when fishing this water. It is advisable that juniors be accompanied by adults due to the depth of the waters. Carp, Roach, Bream, Tench and Perch.

Wych Lodge Lake:
Situated on the Forestry Commission land at Staple Fitzpaine near Taunton. Anglers must use Barbless Hooks and not to retain carp in keepnets when fishing this water. Tickets for this venue are available from Topp Tackle, Taunton telephone 01823 282518. Carp, Grass Carp, Perch, Roach, Rudd and Tench.

Stanley Durston Ponds at Walton:
From Taunton take the A361, turn right at Pipers Inn. On entering Walton, turn sharp left at Pike and Muskets Inn. Keep bearing right to bridge over the south drain, Pond on right. No parking allowed on sides of roads, only in car park area provided. No Carp to be retained in keepnets. All Carp to be returned to the waters immediately. Anglers must use Barbless Hooks when fishing this water. Carp to 25 lbs, Bream to 7 lbs, perch to 3 lbs 8oz, Roach, Rudd and Tench.
